Down Ampney Primary School
Down Ampney C of E Primary School is located in the very centre of the village. The attractive Victorian building also has a generous area of outdoor space and a large field, with plenty of scope for sport, play and outdoor learning. The school is thriving and has over 40 children on roll, taught in 3 classes. There is also a Breakfast Club and provision for After School care. Although the school is smaller than average, children take a full part in local sporting events, music lessons and other activities. The school was rated GOOD in both recent Ofsted and SIAMs inspections.
